Hassan Al-Haydos ruled out of Al-Rayyan clash

Al-Sadd star Hassan Al-Haydos has been ruled out of the upcoming QNB Stars League clash with Al-Rayyan due to an ankle injury.

The confirmation comes after medical tests revealed the extent of the injury which Al-Haydos sustained in the AFC Champions League quarterfinal second leg match against Esteghlal. Al-Sadd drew the match 2-2 but qualified for the semifinals nonetheless following a 5-3 aggregate win.

Al-Haydos will now undergo treatment under the supervision of the club’s medical staff before returning to training once he has fully recovered.

Meanwhile, the first team stepped up its preparations for the Al-Rayyan clash, which will be played at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Saturday.
