Hassan Al-Haydos: Happy with the big win

Al-Sadd star Hassan Al-Haydos spoke of his delight after his side’s big 4-1 win over Al-Rayyan on Sunday.

Speaking after the match, Al-Haydos said: “Al-Rayyan began the match well before Al-Sadd scored the first goal through Hamroun. This goal gave us confidence and allowed us to dominate possession in midfield. After the sending off, the match turned completely and we succeeded in scoring three goals.”

Al-Haydos also pointed out that head coach Jesualdo Ferreira gave them instructions to preserve the result in the second half. He described the coach’s work before the game as “the secret” behind the big result, as he managed to prepare the players well despite not having enought time before the game. The players trained together only twice before the game due to the absence of the international players.
