Hassan Al-Haydos: Al-Duhail game is crucial
Al-Sadd forward Hassan Al-Haydos believes that the upcoming QNB Stars League clash with Al-Duhail will be a crucial game, noting that Al-Sadd did not beat Al-Duhail at all in the previous sesaon.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Al-Haydos said: “We need to be highly focused in this game to get the win and go top of the table. The team with more focus will clinch the game and it is not true that Al-Sadd is closer to winning this time. Every match has its own specialty. In this season, our team has been better but the better team in this game will be the one who manages to win.”
He also added: “If Al-Duhail have any injuries, they have replacements who will add to the team. For both Al-Sadd and Al-Duhail, you never talk about injuries because both teams have replacements who are always ready.”
“Al-Duhail are in a better position because they have two chances to remain top.”
Finally, Al-Haydos said: “Our preparations for this game has been normal, just like all other games. The only difference is that this will be the most important game, as it is for the top spot and the winner will remain top of the league for two months until the end of the AFC Asian Cup.”
