Hamroun: Ready for Nasaf clash, we seek a positive result
Al-Sadd winger Jugurtha Hamroun believes his team is ready for the upcoming clash with Nasaf in the AFC Champions League.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Hamroun said: “This is a tough match for us as it is being played away from home. The team has been playing well recently. Despite losing the last game against Al-Duhail, we have done well in the Champions League, which is a huge objective for the club. Our aim is to get a positive result here in Uzbekistan.”
Asked about his knowledge of the opposing players, Hamroun said: “I know very little about Nasaf’s players. I have seen former El-Jaish player (Sardor) Rashidov when he was playing in Qatar.”
The Algerian went on to conclude by saying that Al-Sadd was “fully prepared” for the game, in which a win could take them closer to the next round.
