Hamroun: Ready for facing Lekhwiya; winning gives us a boost

Al-Sadd attacker Jugurtha Hamroun believes that the upcoming QSL Round 3 game against Lekhwiya will be a difficult and hard-fought affair considering the quality of the players in both sides and the excitement it will produce.

Speaking to the club website before the start of the main training session on Friday, Hamroun said: “The match is going to be tough just like all the matches Al-Sadd play in the QSL. It is against a tough opponent and the Al-Sadd players have to responsible and confident in order to get the win.”

He added: “The match against Lekhwiya could be a big turning point for Al-Sadd if we are deal with it properly. We are capable of winning. We are preparing well for the match and we hope to get the result we want.”

The Algerian cited Al-Sadd’s desire to keep on winning after achieving two wins out of two games in the league so far. He said: “Our aim is to win and get the three points so as to continue on the path of victories.  Winning gives us a boost to improve further.”

Hamroun concluded by saying: “This is our first match away from home and I hope Al-Sadd fans will support us in a difficult match that will require a lot of effort from all.”
