Hamroun: Happy to be the Player of the Month; I thank the fans

Al-Sadd’s Jugurtha Hamroun spoke of his happiness after being crowned as the club’s best player for the month of November. He was chosen for the award via a fan vote on Instagram.

Speaking to the club website, Hamroun said: “I thank the fans who voted for me. The fans’ choice is always the most credible. And I hope they support the team strongly in the coming matches.”

He also added: “I also thank all my teamamtes who should have this award with me, without who I wouldn’t accomplish anything. We are one group and one team; we’ll always remain so.”

Hamroun continued: “Of course, I’m delighted to win this award but what’s more important is to win championships. That is what will give the individual awards any meaning.”

He also said: “At Al-Sadd, we play to win all the championships and this is our aim in this season too. We will do everything we can to achieve that.”

Hamroun concluded by saying: “The Al-Khor match will be tough but we will do all we can to give our best and win. With the blessing of God and the help of my teammates and coaches, I will continue to work hard. I hope I can perform even better in the coming matches.”
