Hamed Ismail: Happy to return to Al-Sadd

Al-Sadd player and new signing Hamed Ismail has expressed his delight in returning to the team for the 2016/17 season. The move came following the desire of the player to play for Al-Sadd – a dream for any player in Qatar.

Hamed has signed a one-year contract with Al-Sadd as part of a loan from Al-Rayyan.

After signing his contract, Hamed spoke to the club website, saying: “I hope I can realize the ambitions and hopes of the fans. I know very well that playing for Al-Sadd entails a huge responsibility for me to always give my best.”

He added: “I played for Al-Sadd for six months previously and I was hoping to continue with the team; I did not want to leave as there were big players in the team, who have always been supportive of any player who is developing his level.” Hamed also pointed out that returning to Al-Sadd signifies a new challenge for him, saying that he wishes he “remains in the good books of the coaches and the management.”

As for his recovery from his current injury, Hamed said: “I praise God for my recent health condition, I am feeling better and only two weeks are remaining for me before I join the team for group training.”

The latest addition to the Al-Sadd squad went on to conclude by saying: “I am delighted to return to Al-Sadd; I promise everyone that I will work as hard as I can to give my best and help the team to victories and titles.”
