Gaser Yahya has called the upcoming match against Al-Ahli in the Qatar Stars League as a “tough” one. The Al-Sadd player was speaking to the club website before the start of the training session on Tuesday.
Gaser said: “It will be a tough match and is a test for the Wolves this season which has been a competitive one. We will not forget the previous match in the first phase in which Al-Sadd found it tough to win 2-1.”
The midfielder then went on to talk about the loss in the Al-Wakrah game. “We lost to Al-Wakrah because of errors and also due to the absence of many players which the team has been suffering from,” he said. “The next game against Al-Ahli will be the right opportunity to make amends in order to return to winning wats and get three new points for the campaign.”
As for the recent signings in the winter transfer window, Gaser had this to say: “For sure, the signings will be a great addition to the team; Morteza Pouraliganji and Pedro will be of great help to the team in the upcoming period.”
Gaser concluded by saying: “Our goal is to keep winning and we will strive for that with all our strength against Al-Ahli. We hope the fans will support us in the upcoming games which will not be short of excitement.”
