FIRST TEAM RESUMES TRAINING TO PREPARE FOR AL-SHAHANIYA
Al-Sadd resumed training on Sunday evening following a day of rest after Friday’s 3-0 win over Al-Gharafa in Round 18 of the QSL.
The Wolves are now preparing for the upcoming Round 19 game against Al-Shahaniya, which will be played on Thursday, the 2nd of February at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
During Sunday’s session, the coaching staff focused on ball training which varied between offensive and defensive drills. They also implemented shooting drills through set-pieces from the wings and from deep.
Khalfan, Al-Haydos and Morteza impress on return
The trio of Khalfan Ibrahim, Hassan Al-Haydos and Morteza Pouraliganji returned to group training on Sunday and impressed with their performance and hard work. The trio returned to routine training after recovering from injuries which had kept them out recently.
Injury keeps Hamroun away from training
Algerian winger Jugurtha Hamroun was absent from Sunday’s training session after undergoing treatment for the ankle injury that he sustained in the last game against Al-Gharafa.
