First team resumes training to prepare for Al-Rayyan

Al-Sadd first team resumed training at 6 PM on Monday at the secondary pitch of the club as part of the preparations for the upcoming Qatar Stars League game against Al-Rayyan. The Round 25 game is set to be played on Sunday, the 10th of April at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

The Wolves had earlier received a day off as rest following the 3-2 win over Al-Sailiya in the Round 24 game played at Al-Ahli Club.

The training session on Monday saw the participation of all the Al-Sadd players. The coaching staff implemented the physical conditioning programme to bring the players to the required levels of fitness ahead of the crucial matches coming up in the league and the two Cups.

Reserves to play friendly against Qatar U20

Meanwhile, the Al-Sadd reserve team will play a friendly match against the Qatar national under 20 team at the Aspire Ground 4 on Tuesday. The match will kick off at 6 PM.

Spanish television channel Movistar+ was at the training ground on Monday for a special coverage of the team and star midfielder Xavi Hernandez.
