First team resumes training to prepare for Al-Rayyan

​Al-Sadd football first team resumed training at 5:30 PM on Sunday as part of its preparations to face Al-Rayyan in Round 12 of the Qatar Stars League. The match will be played on Thursday, 10th December at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

The Wolves had been given a day off on Saturday following the 1-2 defeat to Al-Sailiya in Round 11. After successive losses against Lekhwiya and Sailiya, the team will now look to stop the rut ​and give a strong performance they face league leaders Al-Rayyan.

The coaching staff, led by Jesualdo Ferreira, held a meeting with the players before the start of the training session on Sunday in order to correct the mistakes from the Sailiya match. Later, the team underwent technical practice with the ball, varying between offensive and defensive aspects.
