Al-Sadd SC football first team resumed training at 4 PM on Monday after a period of rest given to the players following the 3-1 win over Al-Khor in the Qatar Stars League Round 19 match.
The Wolves are now preparing for the upcoming Round 20 match against Al-Arabi which will be played on Sunday, the 28th of February at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium in Lekhwiya Club.
The training session on Monday saw the participation of all the available stars of Al-Sadd. The coaching staff, led by head coach Jesualdo Ferreira, put emphasis on technical aspects, focusing on the movement of players in attack and in defence.
Later, the coaches moved to tactical training during which Ferreira divided the group into two teams and made them play each other in a practice scrimmage in the middle of the pitch, which saw a lot of competition and spirit from the players. The coaches used this match to correct errors in the way the players moved and played the ball.
Special training for the reserves
The reserve team players underwent special training under the eyes of the assistant coach Hesham Zahid. The reserve team had played a match on Sunday against Al-Shahaniya in Round 13 of the QatarGas League, losing 3-0.
