First team resumes training to prepare for Al-Arabi

​The football first team at Al-Sadd resumed training on Monday after two days of rest that they received following the goalless draw against Al-Khor in Round 6 of the Qatar Stars League.
The players are preparing for the upcoming derby against Al-Arabi in Round 7, which will be played on Saturday, the 31st of October at Abdulla bin Khalifa Stadium at Lekhwiya Club.
Al-Sadd trained on Monday over two separate sessions. The coaching staff looking to improve the fitness of the players before the derby, which is a huge test for the team especially with the level of competition for the title this season.
Al-Sadd are currently in second place in the table with 14 points coming from 4 wins and 2 draws.

Mohammed Ghanem supports the team
Mr. Mohammed Ghanem al-Ali, Head of Football at Al-Sadd, was keen to meet with the players before the start of the evening session, to ensure them of the continuous support from the management after the unfortunate draw against Al-Khor in the last match. He also pointed out the importance of working hard to get wins which will take the team to the top.
