First team gets a day off on Thursday; reserves to face Lekhwiya in QatarGas League
The Al-Sadd football first team players were given a day off from training on Thursday as a rest following their 5-0 win over Al-Rayyan in the QSL Round 10 match played on Wednesday.
The result raised Al-Sadd’s tally to 24 points from 10 games, which meant that the Wolves climbed to second place in the league standings.
The team is set to return to training at 5:30 PM on Friday at the club’s training pitch to begin preparations for the Round 11 game against Umm Salal, which will be played on Monday, the 12th of December.
Meanwhile, the Al-Sadd reserve team will face Lekhwiya reserves in a QatarGas League Round 7 match, which was postponed from its earlier date. The match will kick off at 6:10 PM on Thursday at the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium of Al-Wakrah Club.
