First team gets a day off on Monday

​The players of the football first team were given a day off on Monday after their 4-2 win over Al-Kharaitiyat in a QSL Round 9 match on Sunday.

The Wolves will return to training on Tuesday evening as part of preparation for the Round 10 match against Lekhwiya which will be held on Friday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium. Al-Sadd is currently at third place in the standings with 21 points.

On a related note, the duo of Talal al-Baloushi and Lee Jung Soo had a special training session on Monday morning under the supervision of physio Joao Marcos in order to prepare themselves fully. Talal had played five minutes of the last match against Al-Kharaitiyat while Lee missed the match due to an injury to his hand.
