Al-Sadd first team players received a day off from training on Friday after a period of intense training in recent days.
The Wolves will conclude their preparation for the game against Al-Rayyan at the training grounds on Saturday evening. The game is set to kick off at 8:30 PM on Sunday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
The coaching staff, led by Jesualdo Ferreira, focused on technical drills with the ball, in addition to the movement of players and also playing the ball across the pitch. Later, the players moved on to tactical training.
Ferreira stops the session to correct errors
Head coach Ferreira stopped the session, particularly the tactical training, to correct errors in the movement of the players.
Strong competition between the players
The session on Thursday also saw great competition between the players of the team, all competing for a spot on the starting XI of the game against Al-Rayyan.
Hamza Al-Sanhaji continues to train hard
Striker Hamza Al-Sanhaji continued to participate in group training after recovering from injury. Hamza will be a crucial addition to the squad.
Ferreira and Abdelkarim to attend press conference
The pre-match press conference for the Clasico will be attended by head coach Ferreira and defender Abdelkarim Hassan. It will be held at the conference hall at Al-Sadd form 11 AM on Saturday.
