First team gets a day off on Friday

​Al-Sadd football first team players got a day off from training on Friday on the occasion of Qatar National Day. The team had earlier trained on Thursday night with all available players participating in the session, amidst the absence of the five players who are away with the Qatar Olympic team.

The team is scheduled to conclude training at 5:30 PM on Saturday ahead of the Qatar Stars League Round 14 clash against Mesaimeer, which will kick off at 6:45 PM on Sunday at the Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium at Al-Ahli Club.

Al-Sadd currently sit in fourth place in the QSL table with 24 points while Mesaimeer are in 14th place with 4 points.
