First team continues training intensely

The Al-Sadd football first team continued routine training with a session on Thursday from 6:30 PM onwards, as part of preparations for the start of the Qatar Stars League in mid-September.

The coaching staff implemented the physical and technical training module with a focus on movement, attacking and defensive play.

In the second half of the session, the players played a practice match between themselves in the middle of the pitch. Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira intervened on multiple occasions to correct the errors committed by the players.

The team is scheduled to continue training as usual on Friday from 6:30 PM before the players take a day off on Saturday.

New Zealand assistant coach attends the session

Meanwhile, New Zealand national team assistant coach Alex attended the session on Thursday. His visit comes as part of the visit by the New Zealand delegation to Qatar for cooperation with Qatari clubs and the Aspire Academy.
