FIFA holds coordination meeting ahead of the Club World Cup

FIFA, the governing body of international football, held a coordination meeting and workshop for the Al-Sadd team on Monday, ahead of the participation in the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019.

The meeting was organised by FIFA and the LOC, with the objective of explaining details pertaining to the tournament such as transport and accomodation, in addition to other technical matters. FIFA representatives then presented a commemorative souvenir to Al-Sadd captain Gabi, marking the club’s participation in the tournament.

It was followed by a session led by Naji Al Juwaini, head of the referees department at the Qatar Football Association, in which he spoke to the Al-Sadd players about various rules and regulations, and also about the use of video technology.

Later, the Al-Sadd players posed for the official photos for the Club World Cup.
