Ferreira announces the squad for the game against Lekhwiya

Al-Sadd head coach Jesualdo Ferreira has announced the squad for the game against Lekhwiya in Round 3 of the Qatar Stars League. The match is set to kick off at 6 PM at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium on Sunday.

The 18-man consists of Saad Al-Dosari, Muhannad Naim, Hamed Ismail, Musab Kheder, Hassan Al-Haydos, Ali Asad, Hossam Kamal, Morteza Pouraliganji, Pedro Miguel, Xavi, Jugurtha Hamroun, Baghdad Bounedjah, Gaser Yahya, Salem Al-Hajri, Khalfan Ibrahim, Mohammed Kasola, Abdelkarim Hassan and Ibrahim Majid.

Return of Khalfan, Ibrahim and Abdelkarim

The squad announcement saw the return of Khalfan Ibrahim, Abdelkarim Hassan and Ibrahim Majid after they missed the last game against Al-Ahli due to injury. Khalfan has recovered from an ankle injury while Ibrahim has recovered from a cold. Abdelkarim Hassan returns after recovering completely following a surgery on his left hand.

The Al-Sadd team trained from 6 PM on Saturday at the club training pitch. The coaching staff implemented some light technical drills following which Ferreira announced the squad for the match. Later, the team left for a closed camp at the Movenpick Hotel, from where they will leave for the match.
