Ferreira allows 11 days of rest for the first team
The Al-Sadd football first team were given 11 days of rest during the league break which began following the team’s Round 23 match against Al-Khor.
The league break is scheduled as per the Qatar national team’s 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign, which will see them play two qualifiers.
In Al-Sadd’s last match before the break, they drew 0-0 with Umm Salal. The Wolves now have 54 points and are on top of the league table, one point ahead of second-placed Lekhwiya, who have played one game less.
The team is scheduled to return to training on March 14, in order to begin preparations for facing Al-Rayyan in the Round 24 match which will be played on April 2.
