​Al-Sadd defender Lee Jung Soo returned to training for the first team after recovering from the injury he had picked up in the league match against Umm Salal. The injury to his back muscles had kept him out of action and training for the past few days.
The Al-Sadd team is preparing to take on Lekhwiya in the Qatar Super Cup on Thursday, the 21st of January at the Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium of Al-Ahli Club.

The technical staff led by Portuguese head coach Jesualdo Ferreira were keen to train and prepare the players well after the friendly defeat to Al-Taawon.

The Sunday session saw the participation of all the available players of Al-Sadd and began with physical training before moving into technical drills. The team is now scheduled to hold the main training session for the match from 5:30 PM onwards on Tuesday at the secondary pitch of the club.
