Club VP meets the players, Ferreira announces the squad

​H.E. Nasser bin Mubarak Al-Ali, vice president of Al-Sadd SC, met with the football first team players at the secondary pitch before the start of the training session on Saturday. The vice president held the meeting to urge the players to give their best and work very hard in the upcoming game against Al-Arabi in order to get the win and make the fans happy.

The coaching staff used the training session to focus on physical fitness and also made the players undergo light technical drills. After the session, the head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the list of probables for the match against Al-Arabi, which will kick off at 7:30 on Sunday at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

The 17-man list is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Muhannad Naim, Musab Khodr, Abdelkarim Hassan, Mohammed Kasola, Morteza Pouraliganji, Nadir Belhadj, Xavi, Ali Asad, Gaser Yahya, Nasser Ibrahim, Hassan Al-Haydos, Meshaal Al-Shammari, Hamza Al-Sanhaji, Ali Faydh, Hossam Kamal, Salem Al-Hajri.

Talal Al-Baloushi remains out of contention due to injury while Khalfan Ibrahim and Baghdad Bounedjah are also not included as they have not regained full fitness yet.

After the conclusion of training on Saturday, the team left for the Grand Heritage Hotel for a closed camp which will last until the time of departure for the match.​
