Cazorla: It’s a great honour for me to be at the biggest club in Qatar

Santi Cazorla expressed his delight at joining Al-Sadd, after officially signing a two-year contract with the Wolves.
“Al-Sadd is the biggest club in Qatar and it’s a great honour to be here and to be part of this club,” he said.
Asked about head coach Xavi Hernandez’s role in his move to Al-Sadd, Cazorla said: “Xavi was very important in my decision to come to Qatar. He was my reference when he was a player, and I’m sure he’ll be the same as a coach.”
As for his ambition at his new club, the Spanish midfielder emphasised that he was out to “win everything.”
“We have to try to win everything, all the titles.”
Cazorla also praised Qatar’s infrastructure and capability to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup. “Qatar has everything, and I think it’s the best place to try and play another World Cup.”
Finally, he concluded with words of gratitude to the fans: “I can only say thank you very much to all those who supported me, and I will try my best every day to help the team.”
