Bounedjah returns to the squad as Ali Asad and Fahad Shanin miss out

Al-Sadd head coach Jesualdo Ferreira has announced the matchday squad for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 4 game against Qatar SC. The announcement came after the final training session on Saturday.

The game is set to kick off at 7:40 PM on Friday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

The 18-man squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Musab Kheder, Hassan Al-Haydos, Meshaal Al-Shammari, Salem Al-Hajri, Yasser Abubakar, Hatem Kamal, Saoud Ibrahim, Boualem Khoukhi, Ahmed Bader Sayyar, Baghdad Bounedjah, Morteza Pouraliganji, Jugurtha Hamroun, Pedro Miguel, Ayoob Mashhoor, Meshaal Ibrahim

The squad announcement saw the return of Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah after his recovery from an injury that had kept him out of action in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Ali Asad and Fahad Shanin were rueld out of the squad after they fell ill.

During Saturday’s final training session, the coaching staff implemented physical and light technical training. Reaction drills were followed by a practice game in the middle of the pitch. At the end of the session, the squad left for a closed camp at the Westin Doha Hotel, from where they will leave for the game on Sunday.
