Bounedjah returns as Al-Sadd prepare for Al-Wakrah
Al-Sadd’s Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah returned to first team training on Monday after the end of international duty with his national team.
Bounedjah had earlier been away this past week with the Algerian team for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Nigeria. Bounedjah came on as a substitute as his team lost 1-3.
The Algerian striker is currently the top scorer of the Qatar Stars League with 8 goals from 6 games.
Al-Sadd are now preparing for the upcoming Qatar Stars League Round 7 game against Al-Wakrah, which is scheduled to be played on Sunday, November 20 at the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium. The coaching staff used Monday’s session to prioritise technical skills and certain tactical aspects of the game.
