Al-Sadd football team head coach Hussein Amouta has spoken of the difficulty of the upcoming match against Al-Ahli in Round 4 of the QSL on Thursday. The match will take place at the new Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium, the home of Al-Ahli.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Amouta said: “We congratulate Al-Ahli for their new ground which will be inaugurated by the Sadd-Ahli match. I hope it spells good news for us to get another three points in the battle for the QSL title.”
The Moroccan went on to say: “Al-Sadd are coming from a huge win over Al-Wakrah after a disappointing draw with Umm Salal. We will work hard to correct the mistakes; we will play with aggression and ferocity in attack and defence to get the perfect balance required to perform well and win.”
As for the competition for the title this season, he said: “The picture at the top has changed completely this season as there are more than 5-6 team competing strongly for the title, as opposed to last season. This helps in increasing the excitement. As for us at Al-Sadd, we must prepare well for it especially as we always seek to win the title.”
Amouta completed his talk to the media saying: “It will be a tough and hard-fought match. Al-Sadd needs to give its best especially as Al-Ahli are a good team which always performs well against Al-Sadd. All the players need to strive hard and prepare well to get the three points.”
