Amir Cup: Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Al-Kharaitiyat

Al Sadd first team concluded their preparations today ahead of the upcoming game against Al-in the Amir Cup 2020 Round of 16, which will kick off at 4:30 pm on Thursday at the Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium in Al-Duhail Club.

At the end of the final training session, Al-Sadd head coach Xavi Hernandez announced the matchday squad for the game. The announcement saw the return of Spanish midfielder Gabi after his recovery from an injury, in addition to goalkeeper Saad Al-Dosari, who was absent from the last game against Al-Sailiya in the league due to an illness.

Meanwhile, Hassan Al-Haydos continued to undergo treatment and rehabilitation for his injury, which keeps him out of the upcoming game.

The 18-man squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Pedro Miguel, Khokhi Boualem, Jung Woo-young, Salem Al-Hajri, Hossam Kamal, Ali Asad, Akram Afif, Baghdad Bounedjah, Nam Tae-her, Tarek Salman, Gabi, Hamed Ismail, Abdulkarim Hassan, Hashim Ali, Abdulaziz Al-Ansari, Yasser Abubakar.

After the session, the squad left for an overnight camp at the Messila Hotel, from where they will leave for the game on Wednesday.
