Amir Cup: Al-Haydos returns to squad ahead of semifinal

Al-Sadd star Hassan Al-Haydos returned to the squad ahead of the Amir Cup semifinal against Al-Rayyan, after regaining full fitness. The game is set to be played on Saturday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, with kickoff set for 10:30 PM.

Al-Haydos had earlier missed the last AFC Champions League game against Al-Ahli due to an illness.

Meanwhile, Al-Sadd concluded their preparations for the Amir Cup semifinal with the final training session, which was held on Friday evening. The coaching staff focused on physical and technical drills, before moving on to a practice game that saw the players face off amongst themselves.

Later, head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the 18-man squad for the game, which is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Pedro Miguel, Abdelkarim Hassan, Jung Woo-young, Ali Asad, Baghdad Bounedjah, Hamid Ismail, Gabi, Tareq Salman, Khoukhi Boualem, Hassan Ahmed, Salem Al-Hajri, Yasir Abubakar, Xavi, Akram Afif, Saoud Al-Nasr, Hassan Al-Haydos.
