Ali Ferydoon: We displayed a great performance in the derby

Al-Sadd striker Ali Ferydoon praised his side’s performance in the 5-1 win over Al-Arabi, adding that it will boost morale ahead of the upcoming AFC Champions League game against Persepolis.

Speaking after the match, Ferydoon said: “We succeeded in putting up a great performance against Al-Arabi and we managed to continue our winning run. We consider this win as a big boost for us as we look for a new win in Asia.”

The striker added that Al-Sadd scored early on and continued with  a great performance, which helped them get a big result.
