Ali Asad: Al-Sadd is constantly improving, our goal is to defeat Al-Wakrah

Al-Sadd midfielder Ali Asad spoke about his side’s readiness, ahead of the opening QNB Stars League game against Al-Wakrah.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Ali said: “We are ready for the game. The team is constantly improving. Winning the Sheikh Jassim Cup is a boost for us. I hope it will be a good start against Al-Wakrah.”

He added: “Al-Wakrah is coming from the second division and they will put up a strong display against Al-Sadd. We are ready for that. And I must always be prepared to get the opportunities from the coach. I hope the new seasion will be an excellent one for me and the team.”
