​​Al-Sadd won the 2014/15 Annual Football Exellence Shield for the second season in a row after coming out on top of their closest competitor Lekhwiya and Al-Gharafa, who came third.

Al-Sadd kicked off the season with a win over Lekwhiya in the Super Cup and then went on to finish second in the Qatar Stars League, before triumphing in the final of HH the Emir Cup. In addition to the senior team, the various age group teams of Al-Sadd also had excellent results.
