Al-Sadd to play in white, Lekhwiya in red

The Qatar Football Association held a meeting at Al-Bidaa Tower on Wednesday morning to decide on the technical details of the Sheikh Jassim Cup match set to be played on Thursday at the Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium. The match will kick off at 6 PM and will be played between Al-Sadd, the defending Emir Cup champions and Lekhwiya, the holder of the QSL title.
The meeting was chaired by Humood al-Nuaimi, championship supervisor and was attended by Abdulla Jassim, general match coordinator alongside Mohammed Saeed and Waleed Bakhit, the officials from Al-Sadd and Lekhwiya respectively.
During the meeting, the attendees decided upon the match programme and schedule including the kickoff time and the time of arrival of the teams, as well as the prize ceremony.
The meeting also witnessed the determining of the kits for both teams; Al-Sadd will play in all-white while Lekhwiya will play in red.
