Al-Sadd to leave for Abu Dhabi on Sunday

​Al-Sadd football first team will leave for Abu Dhabi on Sunday the 7th of February, to prepare for its match against Emirati side Al-Jazira in the 2016 AFC Champions League qualifier. The match is set to be played on Tuesday at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Al-Jazira Club.

The tournament draw had pitted Al-Sadd against Al-Jazira, with the winner awarded a place in Group C alongside Al-Hilal (KSA), Pakhtakor (Uzbekistan) and Tractor Tabriz (Iran).

Al-Sadd is set to resume training at 5:30 PM on Saturday evening at the secondary pitch of the club. This comes after the day of rest given to the players on Friday following the 1-1 draw with Al-Ahli in the QSL Round 17 match played on Thursday.
