Al-Sadd to face Mesaimeer in a friendly

​The coaching staff of the football first team at Al-Sadd Club, led by Hussein Amouta, has scheduled a friendly match against Mesaimeer Club, which will be held at 7 PM on Thursday, the 27th of August on the secondary pitch of the club.

The team had earlier played three friendly matches as part of its preseason training camp in Austria, facing Al Ain, Al Nassr and Al Wahda as part of its preparation for the 2015/16 season. After returning to Doha, the team played another friendly against Mesaimeer, winning 5-1.

Meanwhile, the first team continued its daily training with a session that started at 6:30 PM on the secondary pitch. All the players, except those currently with the senior and Olympic national teams took part. The coaching staff ensured that the players improved their technique and also focused on tactical training. The players practiced dealing with crosses from both defensive and offensive perspective, before having a practice scrimmage in the middle of the pitch.
