Al-Sadd sweep QPA awards

The Qatar Players Association (QPA) held its annual awards ceremony at the Ooredoo Arena at Mall of Qatar on Sunday, presenting its lineup of Qatar11, the best eleven players in the country.

The Qatar11 was chosen by the currently active players in the 17 Qatari clubs in the first and second divisions, based on the model of FIFA’s FIFPro World 11 awards.

The ceremony was attended by QPA President Salman Al-Ansari, Al-Sadd sporting director Mohammed Gholam, Al-Sadd media officer Ahmed Al-Ansari and a number of officials from the different clubs, in addition to domestic and foreign players.

The Qatar11 lineup was dominated by Al-Sadd players, seven of whom were chosen.
