Al-Sadd return to training after the break to prepare for Al-Arabi
The Al-Sadd football first team resumed training at 5:30 PM on Tuesday at the club’s training pitch after a day’s break following the 1-1 draw with Al-Wakrah in the QSL Round 7 match played on Sunday.
The Wolves will now prepare for the upcoming derby against Al-Arabi in the Round 8 match which will be played on Saturday at the Grand Hamad Stadium.
Physical training
The coaching staff used Tuesday’s session to focus on physical training especially as the players were returning from a break.
Coordination meeting
Before the session began, a coordination meeting was held between the players and the coaching staff in order to discuss the positives and negatives from the last match and also how to work to avoid losing points again.
Khalfan participates
Khalfan Ibrahim was a prominent part of training on Tuesday after he was declared physically and technically fit to join group training on Friday.
Hamed undergoes specialized training
Hamed Ismail underwent specialized training, supervised by physio Joao Marcos as he looks to return to action following his absence in the last match due to illness.
Light training for the reserves
The reserve team players underwent light training led by assistant coach Hesham Zahid after they played in the 1-4 defeat to Qatar SC in the QatarGas League match played on Monday.
