Al-Sadd resumes training with two sessions
Al-Sadd football first team resumed daily training on Thursday at the foreign camp currently being held in Munich, Germany. The camp will run until the 30th of July, when the squad will return to Doha.
The Wolves had earlier received a break from training on Wednesday evening, in order to recover after an intense period of preparation recently. The team had also played its first preseason friendly on Tuesday, losing 0-1 to Russian side Ufa FC.
Morning session at the gym
The morning session started from 9:30 AM on Thursday and saw the team train inside the gym at the Dolce Hotel, their place of accomodation for the duration of their stay in Munich. The focus was on raising the fitness levels of the players and training their reactions and movements under the supervision of physio Jose.
Tactical session in the evening
As for the evening session held at the dedicated pitch, the focus shifted to tactics. The head coach Jesualdo Ferreira concentrated on long balls, crosses and continuously pressurizing the opponent on all areas of the pitch. The session was held amidst an atmosphere of great spirits and enthusiasm, especially from the group of youngsters in the squad.
