Al-Sadd resumes training in two sessions

The Al-Sadd football first team resumed training on Tuesday after resting on Monday following the 2-2 draw with Al-Arabi in Round 7 of Qatar Stars League.
The team is now preparing for the Round 8 match against Al-Gharafa which will kick off at 6:30 PM on Friday at the Thani bin Jassim Stadium.
Training on Tuesday took place over two sessions with South Korean defender Lee Jung Soo participating well after missing the match against Al-Arabi due to injury. Lee had undergone preparatory training to recover from the injury in order to take part in group training.
The morning session took place at the secondary pitch from 10:30 AM for 1 hour in which the coaching staff focused on technical training with the ball which involved attacking and defending. In the evening session which started at 5:30 PM, the team practiced some tactical moves.
Six Olympic team players to miss out
The session on Tuesday took place without six of our players who are away with the Qatar Olympic team: Muhannad Naim, Abdulkarim Hassan, Ali Asad, Musab Khodr, Saleh Bader, Hamza al-Sanhaji. The players will take part in the Olympic team camp for the Under-23 Asian Cup which will take place in January 2016.
