Al-Sadd resume training without a break, ahead of summit clash with Al-Duhail

Al-Sadd head coach Jesualdo Ferreira decided to resume practice for the first team on Monday, without taking a day off following the 5-0 win over Al-Ahli in Round 18 of the QNB Stars League.

The game against Al-Ahli saw Al-Sadd display a dominant performance, as Baghdad Bounedjah scored four times while Jugurtha Hamroun added a fifth goal late on.

The team now have their sights set on the summit clash with league leaders Al-Duhail on Thursday, in the Round 19 match which could decide the title race.

On Monday, the players who appeared in the Al-Ahli game underwent recovery training while the rest of the team worked on physical and technical training.
