Al-Sadd resume training to prepare for El-Jaish
The Al-Sadd football first team resumed training at 6:30 PM on Sunday after taking two days off as rest following the 2-2 draw with Al-Sailiya in Round 25 of the QSL.
The Wolves are now preparing for the upcoming final QSL game against El-Jaish in Round 26 of the 2016/17 season. The match will be played on Saturday, the 15th of April, at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
The coaching staff implemented physical training for the players, which included running and muscle strengthening exercises, before moving on to technical skill drills with the ball.
Special training for the keepers
The three first team goalkeepers (Saad Al-Dosari, Muhannad Naim and Mohammed Ezzeldin) underwent special training under the supervision of goalkeeping coach Nando Scarpello. Their training programme included exercises to train and improve agility, balance and reactions, in addition to drills for dealing with crosses.
Ferreira meets with the players
Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira held a meeting with the players before the start of the session, in order to talk about the upcoming period and the importance of winning the two Cup tournaments.
