Al-Sadd resume training to prepare for Al-Ahli, Al-Haydos continues to recuperate
The Al-Sadd football first team resumed training on Thursday evening at the club’s training facility, following a day of rest after the 3-1 win over Persepolis in the AFC Champions League.
The Wolves will now prepare for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 18 game against Al-Ahli, which will be played on Sunday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira and his staff used Thursday’s session to implement physical and technical training for the players, while looking to maintain their fitness and shape amidst a congested schedule.
Meanwhile, Al-Sadd forward Hassan Al-Haydos continued on his road to recovery after having suffered a muscle tear in the game against Al-Arabi in Round 17. He went on to miss the win over Persepolis and is currently undergoing rehabilitation and treatment to get back to group training.
