Al-Sadd resume training to prepare for Al-Ahli

The Al-Sadd football first team resumed training on Thursday, after returning to Doha following the AFC Champions League semifinal exit at the hands of Persepolis in Tehran. The team is now preparing for the upcoming game against Al Ahli in Round 10 of the QNB Stars League, which will be played on Saturday at the Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium.

The Wolves go into the game sitting in second place in the league standings with 17 points, while Al-Ahli are in sixth place with 12 points. Al-Sadd have two games in hand, with the games against Al-Khor and Al-Duhail delayed due to Champions League commitments.
