Al-Sadd resume training; internationals to return on Thursday
The Al-Sadd football first team resumed training on Tuesday evening at the club’s training pitch after taking a day off on Monday. This came after an intense period of training during the ongoing international break.
The Wolves are currently preparing for the upcoming QSL Round 24 match against Al-Rayyan, which will be played on April 2 at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
Tuesday’s training session witnessed the participation of all the available players, with the exception of those who are away on international duty.
The coaching staff implemented the training programme that included both the physical and tactical aspects. The players were made to focus on training with the ball and their ability to keep pressing the opponent and to play the ball in small areas.
On a related note, Al-Sadd’s Qatar national team players are set to return to training on Thursday. 7 of these players are away with the Qatar senior national team (Saad Al-Dosari, Ibrahim Majed, Mohamed Kasola, Pedro Correa, Hamid Ismail, Ali Asad and Hassan Al-Haydos) while three others are with the Olympic team (Hussam Kamal, Meshaal Al-Shammari and Hassan Ahmed).
