Al-Sadd resume training, Hamroun ruled out of Qatar SC clash

The Al-Sadd football first team resumed training on Sunday evening at the club’s training pitch, as part of the preparation for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 15 game against Qatar SC, which will be played on February 3.

Al-Sadd are currently in second place in the league table with 34 points, after a 4-0 defeat of Al-Gharafa in their last game.

Sunday’s training session saw the Wolves take to the pitch in high spirits and work hard under the supervision of the coaching staff. The team will look to continue their good form and get closer to the top of the table.

The players who appeared in the Al-Gharafa game underwent recovery training while the rest of the team practiced defensive and offensive drills with the ball.

Meanwhile, the team management has confirmed that Algerian winger Jugurtha Hamroun will not play in the upcoming game against Qatar SC after he picked up a fourth yellow card in the last game, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension.
