Al-Sadd resume training after a day of rest

The Al-Sadd first team resumed training on Friday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium pitch, as part of their preparations for the upcoming AFC Champions League Round of 16 2nd Leg game against Al-Duhail. The game will be played on August 13 at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

The team had been given a day of rest on Thursday.

Al-Sadd had earlier drawn 1-1 with Al-Duhail in the first leg of the tie, which was played at the Al-Janoub Stadium in Al-Wakrah on Tuesday.

Friday’s training session saw the team work on physical fitness, after their return from the rest day, before moving on to training drills with and without the ball.

The Wolves are set to continue training daily until matchday, when they will seek to clinch the tie and progress to the quarterfinals.
