Al-Sadd reserves lose to Al-Markhiya in QatarGas League

Al-Sadd football reserve team lost 1-7 to Al-Markhiya in the QatarGas League Round 6 match which was played on Thursday at the Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium.

The loss meant that Al-Sadd remain with 4 points after 6 games, with a win, a draw and 4 defeats.

Al-Markhiya took a 2-0 lead into halftime courtesy goals from Akram Al-Zori (20′) and Peter Ubio (23′).

In the second half, Al-Markhiya added a third goal through Alain Souza in the 48th minute before Akram Al-Zori came back to net his second and the team’s fourth in the 53rd.

After Souza got a brace and made it 5-0 (58′), Al-Zori completed his hattrick with a goal in the 76th minute. Musab Kheder reduced the deficit with a goal in the 80th minute before Al-Shahaniya’s Jassim Al-Shammari scored in the 90th minute to end things.

Al-Sadd reserves played with: Muhannad Naim, Gaser Yahya, Ahmed Sohail, Ali Faiz, Khaled Al-Nuaimi, Musab Kheder, Salem Al-Hajri, Khaled Ali, Saoud Ibrahim, Mohammed Wa’ad, Yousuf Abdulrazaq.

Mohamemd Izzeldin and Khaled Al-Yazidi came on as substitues in the second half.
