Al-Sadd presents Jesualdo Ferreira to the media

Al-Sadd presented on Saturday its new coach Jesualdo Ferreira to the media in a press conference held at the club headquarters.
The press conference was attended by Al-Sadd CEO Turki al-Ali, Head of Football Mohammed Ghanem al-Ali, Sporting Director Mohammed Gholam al-Baloushi, Media Manager Ahmed al-Ansari and a number of fans of the club.
The Portuguese coach will lead Al-Sadd in its campaigns in the Qatar Stars League and the other domestic and Asian tournaments. He had arrived in Doha at dawn on Tuesday to negotiate with the club regarding the role.
At the start of the press conferece, Turki al-Ali welcomed the new manager, pointing to his abilities as well as wishing him luck with the team in the upcoming period to achieve excellent results with the team. He also said that Al-Sadd had signed with Ferreira until the end of the 2015/16 season with an option for renewal.

Mohammed Ghanem: A big coach who can achieve our goals
Mr. Mohammed Ghanem al-Ali, Head of Football, stressed that Ferreira was a big name in global football and that his career was filled with achievements. He said that the club hoped to achieve its goals with him, especially as one whose character lies in always striving for trophies.
M. Ghanem added: “In our first meeting with him, I got the feeling that he was a big manager and this encouraged us to sign with him to manage us. We hope we can compete with him and win all the titles.”

Turki al-Ali: The coach is a great addition to Al-Sadd
Club CEO Turki al-Ali said during the press conference that Ferreira was a great addition to the club and that everyone at Al-Sadd hoped they can compete for all the titles with him as manager. He added: “The coach is a big name who has been successful and loves to take on challenges. We feel optimistic after signing with him.”
