The football team players got a day off on Friday to rest following a week of intense training at their preseason camp in Kaprun, which is scheduled to run until the 9th of August.
The coaching staff, led by head coach Hussein Amouta, ensured that the players get to recover by giving them a day off, especially since the coming week will see the team play a number of friendlies. The friendlies will be a measure of the technical and physical readiness of the team ahead of the new 2015/16 season.
Meanwhile, the evening session on Thursday saw a fiercely contested practice scrimmage in the middle of the park which continued for up to 50 minutes. There was a lot of spirit all around as the players, especially the young ones, sought to show their best performances to the coaching staff. Amouta stopped play at various occasions, correcting errors and changing the positions of some players.
The team is now scheduled to resume normal training on Saturday, the 1st of August and will train in two separate sessions – the morning session starting at 10 AM and the evening session starting at 6 PM.
