Al-Sadd players: Fighting spirit and desire led to the victory

Al-Sadd winger Jugurtha Hamroun talked about his happiness after he won his first title with the club in the Qatar Cup final against El-Jaish. He said: “Of course, this title will give us a great boost in order to compete hard for the Emir’s Cup title.”

Hamroun added: “The desire was the reason for the victory in the final. Our goal was to make up for losing out on the league title. We managed to overcome El-Jaish and now our aim shifts to winning the Emir’s Cup.”

The Algerian also sent a message of thanks to the Al-Sadd fans who came to support the team during the match, describing them as the biggest support behind the team. “We, as players, seek to win in order to make the fans happy in the Emir’s Cup.”

Hamed Ismail: Fighting spirit gave us the victory

Al-Sadd full back Hamed Ismail pointed out that it was fighting spirit that led to the team’s victory in the Qatar Cup final against El-Jaish. He added that all the players had a great desire to win the title and make up for the league.

“The match was not easy. El-Jaish are a tough opponent who also had a great desire to win the title. But we overcame them through focus and fighting spirit. We managed to win this important title,” said Hamed. “Now, our ambitions go higher. Our aim now is to win the Emir’s Cup title in order to continue on the winning path and keep bringing achievements to the club. Nobody is satisfied with finishing second.”

Abdelkarim Hassan: The title is a boost ahead of the Emir’s Cup

Al-Sadd left back Abdelkarim Hassan feels that the Qatar Cup title win will be a big boost for the team to win the Emir’s Cup title. He said that Al-Sadd came up on top in the final and this was “a result of continued effort from everyone, be it the coaching staff or the players. Everyone was seeking to win this title in order to make up for the disappointment in the league.”

He added: “The final was tough but fighting spirit was one of the reasons why we got through in the end. We were very focused throughout the match.”
